After a six-week break, the England National Team are preparing for another training camp at Reaseheath College next week before beginning their journey on the road to the 2024 European Championships.
For the majority of the squad, their league campaigns finished last month, but some have delved into new experiences at club level. Goalkeeper Thomas Atkinson, striker Rhyce Ramsden and defender Martin Heald all made their debuts for Polish side Legia Warsaw last weekend.
All three players and Jamie Tregaskiss have dual registered with Legia Warsaw and their EAFA League clubs for the upcoming season 2023/24 season.
They helped secure a 2-1 win against Stala Rzeszow in the final PZU Amp Futbol Ekstraklasa tournament of the season before being dealt with a defeat of the same scoreline to Slask Wroclaw.
The trio of players signed three-year deals for Legia Warsaw two months ago.
But, before travelling across the continent, they wrapped up their domestic competitions with Portsmouth and Everton respectively.
The Amputoffees, Ramsden and Heald, won the Disability FA Cup live on BT Sport (now known as TNT Sport), as well as finishing top of the EAFA League.
Atkinson took the opportunity to experience Europe at the same time as the Merseyside duo, off the back of another trophy-winning season with Pompey - with victory in the League Cup and the EAFA Cup.
Elsewhere, England attacker Matt Dean alongside Portsmouth captain Ray Westbrook also featured for their side Stal Rzeszow.
Dean’s time at the club ended with their game’s final whistle – his near four-month tenure coming to a close - while Westbrook will continue his stay in the Polish league for a second year.
The lads will all be returning to Nantwich in a week's time, and you can follow their training camp experience across our social pages.
