EAFA Statement


The EAFA has become aware of a recent social media incident involving a participant from our youth programme on platform X (formerly Twitter), dated November 19, 2023.


The committee is conducting a thorough internal investigation and will take appropriate actions based on its findings. We remain committed to upholding our standards and values, ensuring a respectful environment for all associated with our programme.


The safety and protection of young players, particularly in association with the England Amputee Football Association, stand as an absolute priority for us. Therefore, our investigation into this incident is conducted with meticulous attention to ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all individuals concerned.


We reiterate our unwavering commitment to treating all individuals with respect, whether in person or online. We maintain stringent standards for our players and staff, anticipating a consistent embodiment of this ethos. Any form of abuse, whether it occurs online or in person, remains unequivocally unacceptable.
